    Hardness HB 125 – 170

    Weld ability

    Guaranteed, under specific conditions (preheat to 200°C). After welding, it is recommended to anneal at 600 – 650°C for the stress relieving.

    Machinability

    Very good.

    Application

    All purpose applications without any special requirements. It is suitable for medium stressed parts and construction elements. The steel cannot be heat-treated.

    Elongation A % >= 10
    Hardness HB 200 – 240

    Weldability

    Good under specific conditions – preheating to 350°C. After welding, the casting must be annealed at 600-650°C for the stress relieving or normalized and tempered anew.

    Machinability

    Good, at reduced cutting speed.

    Application

    For selected applications as cast parts with increased strength, hardness and toughness of construction where a high amount of A, Z and KC are not simultaneously required. The steel is not intended for hardening treatment.
